Shoulder exercises

Sitting military press

Purpose: activation of anterior fibers of deltoid , rotator cuff muscles and serratus anterior.


Mechanism: -sitting with affected arm on side in neutral or slight external rotation position  
                      -flex (bend) your elbow 
                      -forearm in midposition .  
                      -lifting weight vertically to overhead position


-Do not do the exercises unless advised by your doctor.

-Repetitions of each exercise depend on your tolerance and condition, usually between 30-50 times.

-If you feel any pain while doing the exercises stop and ask your doctor.
