Face exercises

TMJ exercise

Purpose: To activate tmj muscles
Mechanism: Try to push against your hand slowly, left side then right side, try to open your mouth against your hand, try to close your mouth against your hand. Then put a pen between your teeth and try to move your jaw forward then backward


 -Do not do the exercises unless advised by your doctor.

-Repetitions of each exercise depend on your tolerance and condition, usually between 30-50 times.
-If you feel any pain while doing the exercises stop and ask your doctor.
