Half Bridging

-Goal:

-To strengthen the lower back muscles.


Procedure:


-
The patient position is lying on his/her back while bending one leg and the other extended. keeping the arms straight beside his body, and to make it more difficult, cross your arms around your chest.

-Raise the lower back (waist) up while maintaining the extended leg raised at the same level of he waist. Try to hold this position for 5 seconds then return to the starting position.













Notes

-Do not do the exercises unless advised by your doctor.

-Repetitions of each exercise depend on your tolerance and condition, usually between 30-50 times.

-If you feel any pain while doing the exercises stop and ask your doctor.
